Twilight is a poetic visual expression of my reaction to my life’s condition as an Iranian woman. It became more clear when I came in USA that is on a border line between dark and light, an uncertain line where you cannot recognize if you want to go toward night or you want to go toward day light. Twilight is the best expression of this unrecognized moment. It is the main emotion that always has accompanied me through my life experiences. Through different painting projects, I recognized that I had these borderlines in my works, unconsciously, a border between a grey world and a colorful world or between two color’s forms; these borders remind me of twilight moment.
