Layers of becoming 2025

Layers of Becoming 2025 produced during the Windgate Foundation Artist-in-Residence program at Arkansas Tech University (August–December 2025), this body of work investigates light as a formal methodology and a symbolic presence. Executed through a rigorous synthesis of layered acrylic, structural drawing, and fabric collage, the series maps the complex progression of material density and surface reflection.

This installation archive features the three central large-scale mixed media works Sylva Girl, Between Sun & Shadow, and Green Symphony alongside comprehensive documentation of their permanent university presentation and reception. The accompanying gallery records, contextual sketches, and installation views reveal an overarching focus on the gradual crystallization of abstract form, tracking a deep engagement with institutional space and collective visual memory.
