My practice unfolds through a series of episodic bodies of work, each emerging from a particular moment, experience, memory, or question. I do not see these bodies of work as separate stories, but as chapters in an ongoing process of looking, remembering, and becoming. Certain images, materials, and ideas return in different forms, connecting one chapter to another while allowing the work to change with me.

I work primarily through painting, drawing, collage, and mixed media. Layering is at the heart of my process. I build surfaces through acrylic paint, fabric, drawing, silkscreen, and abrasion, allowing one mark to cover, interrupt, or reveal another. For me, this process reflects the way we experience memory, not as something fixed or complete, but as something that shifts, accumulates, fades, and returns.

I am interested in what remains with us: images, gestures, fragments of places, inherited patterns, and experiences that continue to shape how we see ourselves and the world around us. Personal memory, cultural inheritance, and my experience of living between different places often enter the work, but they are transformed rather than simply documented. Fabric, floral imagery, the human figure, landscape, and light become ways of thinking about connection, absence, resilience, and change.

I see the world as something constantly in the process of becoming. There is beauty in what is incomplete, layered, worn, remembered, and transformed. My work is a way of paying attention to these moments, to what is visible and what is hidden, what is present and what is absent, what we carry with us and what we gradually learn to let change.
Each body of work is therefore an episode rather than a conclusion. Together, these episodes form an evolving visual language, one that reflects my ongoing relationship with memory, material, place, and the experience of becoming.
