Held Between (2023-2024) explores the structural and psychological dynamics of transitional spaces. Through collage, layered acrylic surfaces, precise drawing, and material layering, the works create a sense of tension and suspension, balancing dense, built-up textures with fluid, restrained linework. Shifting horizons and fragmented forms evoke the instability of presence, memory, and the spaces between one state and another.
The collection includes works such as Sound of Roses, Blue Dream, Suspended Soul, and Ouroboros, alongside documentation of its exhibition history. The series has been presented at Harris Art Gallery – La Verne, California, Riffe Gallery – Columbus, Ohio, and Culture Lab LIC Gallery – New York.
