The Grammar of Bloom 2024-25 explores motifs as a visual language shaped by repetition, memory, and material transformation. Through mixed-media paintings that combine acrylic, intricate drawing, and textile collage, the series reflects on the feminine experience and the ways cultural identity is carried, preserved, and transformed over time.

Recurring forms and densely layered surfaces become shifting systems of notation, where floral imagery and drawn figures can function as forms of protection, while fragility can hold its own strength. Resistance Between Layers, a work from the series, was presented in a group exhibition at Contemporary Art Matters Gallery, curated by Rebecca Ibel and Laura Sanders.
